About the Author
Diana Sanders Cinamon is a personal property appraiser with a specialty in antique and collectible jewelry. She is a certified gemologist (C.G., SCC) graduating from the Santiago Canyon College (SCC) gemology department. She is a graduate of the College for Appraisers carrying the designation of Graduate Certified Appraiser (G.C.A.). She also taught the antiques program for Bellflower Adult School. Active in the appraising community, Mrs. Cinamon is a member of Appraisers National Association, previously serving as President and Vice President. As a member of the SCC gemology alumni association, Mrs. Cinamon has also served as Vice President for this organization. Mrs. Cinamon teaches Antique and Period Jewelry and Pearls for the gemology department at Santiago Canyon. She team-teaches Jewelry Appraisal Theory with Geoff Nelson, G.G. She also teaches the antiques program for Bellflower Adult School. Other accomplishments include her book All About Antique Silver with International Hallmarks, published by AAA Publishing, which has been favorably received in the collecting community.

A nice compliment to my other Vintage Jewelry Books. Very good pictures, with descriptions, and dates. I like books better if their pieces are dated.
I have dozens of books on costume and estate jewelry and I rate this as one of the best. Beautiful and detailed photographs and sketches (colored and black & white). I especially appreciate the historical information of the different style periods. After 35 years of collecting jewelry, I appreciated this book for offering me a continued learning opportunity. This book is definitely one I will keep close by.
Just received this book last night. Estate jewelry is such a vast topic. This book could have been good or really bad...but it ROCKS! I am a jewelry dealer and have a library of reference books. This book has so much to offer. The author touched on so many different categories within the umbrella of "Estate Jewelry". In one night I learned three things that I did not know. She has photos of items that I have never seen before in a book. The correlation between clothing and jewelry styles throughout the years is presented in a very comprehensive manner. Photography is great. I very much appreciate how construction techniques and the evolution of style is presented in this book. A must have for the library of collectors and dealers. I can't wait to read it again tonight!
More info than I will ever use! But I love the book and it was well worth $$$. I've bought vintage antique jewelry for several years without this type guide- lost loads of $$$$ thru ignorance , so pick it up,at library

Wow. What a wonderful book. It's only the 2nd "jewelry" book I have purchased. I recently got into collecting vintage jewelry and wanted to focus my interests, and I am so glad I chose this book. I absolutely love it, and refer to it often. I have already been able to apply the information to my treasure hunting for vintage and estate jewelry. Thank you!
