Physical condition of the set was fine.I LOVE "Me Before You". There are so many parts of my life that this touched on (something that is a spoiler, para/quadriplegia, love that starts too late and ends too early), and I read it several times (and had a compulsion to watch the movie over and over until I was able to help resolve my feelings, along with trips to the therapist. The themes cut deep for me!).That being said, I got through about 2 chapters of "After You" and had a jump-the-shark feeling. A curve ball was thrown at the reader, and Louisa's character didn't feel like the same Louisa. I read to the end to see if there was something in there that would bring her back, but I just never got the same feeling about her character. Maybe as a stand-alone it would have been better, but as a sequel I just didn't feel it. I kept "Me Before You", but "After You" was donated to the library today for their used book sale.So, 5/5 on "Me Before You", 3/5 for "After You" (and that's generous). My personal opinion, if you are looking at this as a boxed set, just pick up "Me Before You" and maybe leave yourself in love with Louisa from the first book, as I did.
I've read Me Before You in Ghana while I was volunteering there when previous volunteers left books for the future ones to share the love of books and stories. Absolutely fell in love with the characters and the plot. There were lots of parts where I could easily relate to my own life or feelings. It also made me want to share this story with someone so the boxed set became a birthday present for my sister. She loved the books as much as I did. Came in great condition. I recommend to anyone wanting to have a good book to relate to and remember for the rest of your life.
Jojo Moyes takes real people and real life challenges and delivers her story beautifully. The depth of her characters draws you in and keeps you wanting to read more, I cried, I laughed and I read on from Me before you to After you without pause and still wanted more. I would love a spinoff for Nathan's story if it hasn't been done already - I reckon that would be fun =). This was the first & second Jojo Moyes book I have read, and I will definitely be looking for more.
Alright better have the tissues handy. First off if you like the movie you’ll thoroughly enjoy the book. There were several things I didn’t like (for one the foul language definitely could have done without that) and two the ending! Would have rather it ended differently...
I really enjoyed all three books. I cried, laughed and wished there were more.

I just got this package today, and when I opened it everything was wrapped so nicely that it almost looked store bought! I love how everything looked and felt. I give it 5 stars!
I wish it wasn't so bitter sweet, but I could read this over and over - can't wait for book #3 in 2018!
